Pastor Tedd Washington
Senior Pastor and founder of Grace for Living Ministries
Pastor Tedd was born in Shellman, Georgia on October 23, 1952. His family relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in 1963. He is the son of the late Emanuel & Mozelle Washington and was reared with a strong sense of family. His parents instilled in him and his siblings, (2 brothers and 5 sisters), a foundational respect and love of God and the church. With his parents, there was never a question of “are we going to church on Sunday?”
God prepared Patricia Jackson-Washington (affectionately known as Pastor Pat) as a wife for Pastor Washington. They were married on March 11, 1972. Although they have weathered many storms together; today they stand united in commitment to God, to each other and to Grace for Living Ministries.
Pastor Tedd earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from Edward Waters College. He studied theology in the graduate program at Luther Rice Seminary. Pastor Tedd operates in a ministry characterized as foundational and prophetic with a strong commitment to maximizing the personal growth and spiritual development of all people.
His first ministry mentor was Bishop C.D. Kinsey, Holy Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Jacksonville Florida (now known as Cathedral of Faith). Pastor Tedd’s life and ministry has also been impacted by Bishop Charles E. Blake during the time he was blessed to be a member and Elder at the West Angeles C.O.G.I.C.
Under the direction of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Washington has evolved into a strong teacher of the Word, delivering dynamic motivational teachings with humor and anointing to both church audiences and religious seminars. Appreciative to God for the many opportunities given to him, Pastor Tedd’s resounding message is: “God will truly provide Grace for Living.”
Pastor Patricia Washington
First Lady and Co-founder of Grace for Living Ministries
As is Pastor Patricia's character, she is totally dedicated to the ministry and most especially to the “People of Grace” for whom she spends countless hours fasting and praying. Much of her time is spent counseling women in the way of the Word. She is a strong advocate of breaking generational curses, an anointed exalter with a strong praise in her heart and on her lips. Pastor Patricia desires to see others commit themselves to Christ.
Pastor Patricia loves the Word of God. She does not neglect the reading and studying of the Word. Though she is a modern woman of God she holds fast to the values of old founded in true holiness.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (KJV)
