Service Ministries are ministries of GFLM that serve our congregation during each worship experience.
Greeters
The Ministry of Greeting is a sacred and powerful responsibility. The Greeters Ministry enhances the worship experience in a variety of practical ways, many behind the scene. Visibly Greeters act as doorkeepers, greeting each person with a smile, and handing out bulletins. They are also available to answer visitors’ questions and extend help in seating worshippers as they enter the sanctuary. The heart of a greeter is the heart of a servant, and he does his work for his Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:24). Our church greeters have a true love for the people of the church and a desire to promote an atmosphere of reverence and worship in the house of God.
Audio/Visual Team
The Audio-Video Technicians are ministry positions. The use of AV technology is to serve as an enhancement of the worship and program experience with minimal distractions due to technical issues. The Audio/Visual team responsibilities include videotape operations, audio, camera operations/photography, video control operations. The standard for performance is excellence.
Choir/Praise Team
The Music Ministry is designed to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song; encourage believers in their walk with Christ; lead the congregation in praise and worship to God, and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gifts and talents and be an integral part of the worship experience.
Dance
The Dance Ministry is a component of the Music Ministry. Dance offers the opportunity to worship with the living temple, the body, as a living sacrifice to prepare an atmosphere of worship to the glory of God. The purpose is to magnify the name of the Lord through liturgical dance. This ministry includes pre-teens, teen, young adults as well as seasoned dancers.
